the words LAX and better do not go together...

Anyway, immigration at LAX can be absolutley awful and I would avoid like the plague. IMHO, fly first to SFO on the later BA flight and (if all goes to schedule) you'll be through immigration and outside in about 15 mins.

You can drive to LA at your leisure down 1, 101 or I5. The lounges at either are nothing to write home about, although SFO probably shades it as you can board direct from the lounge.

If you have never been to LA before, its a dump with absolutely nothing to recommend it apart from a collection of over priced film attractions (or Disneyland!)
