There's just no comparison between the Maldives and Bora Bora.

The Maldives are boring flat coral islands, whereas Bora Bora has stunning mountains and bays as well as beaches. And at the end of the day the Maldives are an exceedingly poor Third World country, whereas Bora Bora is a relatively rich French territory.
