Earning KE miles on NW/DL/CO: Any gotchas?
I'm about 2,000 away from a Korean Air Skypass award level. NW WorldPerks is my main program, and I might have the elite qualification there sewn up by October. So I'm thinking of taking a sale fare flight on NW, DL or CO and crediting to KE instead.
Does anybody know if fare classes are excluded from doing this? I tried several years ago on DL (before Skyteam as we now know it) and they wouldn't let me credit to KE because it was a U fare (i.e. a bargain-basement level paid fare). I looked around at the time and couldn't find anything that said that that fare on DL couldn't earn KE miles. Am just wondering if those kinds of rules still exist, as I would want to do it on the lowest-cost fare.
