It appears that the AKL-PVG-AKL services may be entirely staffed by PVG-based, Chinese crew. (The company hasn't given us a clear indication one way or another, but at this stage circumstancial evidence suggests that it's true).

How do you feel about this? Do you think it's a wise move? From a selfish point of view I'd be disappointed not to fly to Shanghai. But I also feel it's a bad move for the company. They claim that the reason Shanghai-based crew are operating the services is because 70% of the passengers are forecast to be Chinese. So what about the other 30% of Kiwis, Aussies and the like? How will you feel if you got on an Air New Zealand flight without a single Kiwi on the crew? Would you care?
