Ew! I had been enjoying this thread until now, but that is really really upsetting (esp since I would imagine that a housekeeping supervisor would have a much higher tolerance for nastiness than I would).
Slightly OT, how often have people had rooms comped for nastiness when traveling on an expense account? I recently had a room comped for a few reasons (ants in the bathtub and what appeared to be mouse droppings in the corner of the main room were the smaller issues!), but since I was traveling for work, I wasn't paying the bill, anyway. It was a nice gesture on the part of the hotel manager, but I would have benefitted more from him handing me a $10 bill.
Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread. back to discussions of the titilating finds in dresser drawers and ceiling tiles.
