I think to understand the circumstances, one needs to have stayed in JB and this particular property. It is not up to hyatt standard ( nor is the one in KL). The other thing I remember about the JB property is leaving my own medication on a table in a restaurant there ( yes, pretty stupid of me but it happens sometimes)..and then a few hours later needing to take another dose and not being able to find it. Eventually I realised that I must have left it at the breakfast table, went downstairs to ask and after some looking they found my ( very clearly marked with my name in bold) medication in a drawer. It seems that the person who cleared the table or the Maitre D didn't care enough to take the medication to reception in order to return to me. That is symptomatic of 'hospitality' in that joint. In every other Hyatt in the world people come rushing after me...mobile phones, umbrellas, sun glasses, pens...sometimes even the check...as i can be a bit forgetful.
