Am researching MEL-HNL and the only options for *A appear to be SYD-HNL on AC or MEL-AKL-HNL on NZ which involves an overnight stop. Schedule wise AC is much more desirable as I can simply do an end on end with a QF domestic ticket with flights every half hour. But a cursory glance at the AC 763 cabins on airliners.net revealed that they don't even have PTVs for such a long flight? I can't imagine there are pax who're flying with them all the way to YVR...

Remember reading somewhere that AC revamped their inflight product on the Airbuses - are any of those going to be deployed on SYD-HNL anytime soon? Perhaps economy class with PTV on SYD-HNL soon?
