I'm flying out of SJC, where TSA attitude is similar to ORD, so I remain optimistic. Logic would tell me that the 3/4" blades should be OK if 4" pointed blades on scissors are OK, so I will give it a go. Report to follow in about 10 daze (not mis-spelled!).
