TORONTO, June 16 /CNW/ - The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA)
will officially open the Terminal 3 Expansion today at 1:00 p.m.
This expansion will introduce new check-in counters, additional
self-serve kiosks, expanded retail and concessions for passengers and a larger
waiting area for friends and family of arriving international passengers.
The expansion includes a pedestrian tunnel between the terminal and
parking facilities which will allow passengers to avoid crossing traffic on
their way to and from the terminal building.
John Kaldeway, President and CEO of the GTAA will make his remarks at
1:00 p.m. in the departures hall at the east end of Terminal 3, followed by a
ceremonial ribbon cutting.
