I was able to secure FF seats on Delta to Norway for next summer. The entire trip is confirmed except for one segment between SLC and Cincinnati. I was put on a waitlist for that segment. I have two weeks until my reservation expires. I am not sure what to do for that one segment. Is it likely to get a confirmation within the next two weeks? Would it be best to pay cash for that segment rather than wait for the FF award waitlist to be confirmed? Should I try to upgrade to business class, as I have enough miles to do so? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am happy to have gotten the FF seats, but I am concerned about the waitlist. Please advise. Thank you.
