Hey guys,

so the gf and I are planning a trip from NY to Paris and some cities in Italy during thanks-giving this year and after reading this post I have decided I need some serious help.

First of all our original plan was:
-book a return AA flight JFK-CDG-JFK (award if possible)
-separately book one-way from CDG-VCE (cheapest we can find)
-drive from Venice to Florence to Rome
-separately book one-way from ROM-CDG to fly back to JFK (cheapest we can find)

After reading about the OW award ticket I thought maybe there might be some better options. We don't mind to go economy and pay for a few flights but I would definately go for a business/award ticket if there are some good value options. I have have a decent number of miles available and hopefully should have eVIPs coming soon (just made Exp).
