I'd agree with Globaliser's comments, and just wanted to add that's it's a 3+ hour train journey each way from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, then another 1-2 km up to Machu Piccu (there's a bus, though- don't need to walk unless you want to). So It's at least 4 hours total travel time each direction.


that'll make for a very long day, with most of it spent traveling.
