Holding reservation prior to booking using Membership Miles
I've tried to use my AMEX membership miles on several *A flights through AC, but each time I call they tell me they can't hold a seat, even for a few days, while the miles transfer from my Membership Miles acct. to Aeroplan account.

Is there any way around this? I can't afford to put 180K miles for 2 business class tix and then call back and have the seats no longer available.
