Best Way to Use Citibank Companion Travel Voucher

Hey guys I had a question I wanted to pose to the experts:

What would be the best way to use a Citibank domestic (Lower 48 States) Travel Voucher? I believe that it can only be used as a domestic companion voucher on airfare that is over $300.

Does anyone know if there is a special inventory that the companion ticket that the voucher is used for comes out of? Also, if I were to do a MR that would for instance go from MIA to SFO to LAX to DFW to MIA, it costing around $900 or whatever it would be, could the voucher be used for it? Or is the voucher only point to point. I've tried reading the T&C of the voucher but it just isn't very clear and I'd like to hear what you guys think the best way to use the certificate/voucher would be.
