My parents are going to beijing and im trying to decide what hotel they should stay at. my question is should they drop the 12k hyatt points a night for the hyatt beijing or should they do the Grt Wall Sheraton on cash and points? i know that the grt wall is a bit further from the sites, but my parents will probably be taking taxis anyway...

my dad is plat on spg and diamond on hyatt, so he would prob get upgrades @ both places, but i heard that hyatt beijing hardly gives anyone upgrade access to the lounge even if they are top tier...
