Got to the gate for PHX-SFO on Monday 6/5 just as they started boarding and was surprised to hear them call first class passengers. As we boarded, I asked if upgrades were available, and the GA said "sure," took my BP and gave me a seat in F. ^

She didn't ask or say anything about what I'd be using to upgrade; when I checked my e-upgrades the next day, I noticed they had taken two out.

Looks like it's the luck of the draw whether you get charged for the upgrade or not. Oh well, my e-certs were about to expire anyway.
