Duvel comes in 750 ml bottles (at least the ones I buy do), so 3 is a pretty hefty limit! I generally fall asleep after 1, happily so (it is something like 8% alcohol). The head on Duvel is astonishing (I don't have the Belgian Duvel glasses, but use a 35 oz Burgundy wine tasting glass, which works great for Duvel and approximates the traditional bowl shape).
I go with the 250ml bottles so I think we're talking about the same amount! I have a nice collection of glasses including Duvel, Palm, Grimbergen and Hoegaarten. If you want, I can pick up a couple for you on our next trip over.
