I've had an intersting expierence with this. In the last few months, I've booked air and hotel on Orbitz as a package. The credit card statement had one 1 line item for both hotel and air, listed as Orbitz. A month later I booked another package on Travelocity, and the hotel charges showed up as a charge to Travelocity, and the air tix showed up as US Airways.
