About the ingenious idea from the humor thread...

If you yourself are close to the first first class passenger to line up when the gate agent announces those rows, you yourself can take out of the overheads all the bags there when you arrive.

Leave them on seats, they will get shuffled around a bit and go back in the overheads last if space permits, otherwise they get gate checked.

If you yourself did not actually see anyone within a few heads ahead of you put the bags there, it is impossible for anyone to have properly put them there. Because anybody more than a few heads ahead of you is eather a coach passenger or somebody who boarded before his row was called.

And if you are FC and see somebody's bag on your seat, quietly move it to another seat, not the overhead. You don't want to undo someone else's ingenuity meant to help you.

Lastly, if you are an early FC boarder, don't wander off after stowing. You don't want the ingenious trick played on you.
