A family member recently stayed at the Millenium in Times Square on a corporate rate. She was told she was lucky she'd booked through one of their preferred corporate channels, because they'd be sending people who booked through expedia and other retail agents to EWR airport hotels that night.

THAT would suck. I highly doubt that a Peninsula or St. Regis would do such a thing, though.
