CS miles for AA computer correcting it's own mistake?

I did my second Milage Run, to finish up a Platinum Challenge. A few days after I got back, the flights posted the miles to my account. The Platinum Challenge "bonus" from Gold posted for the correct miles for the correct flight segment, but the three following segments still only had the Gold 125% miles accrual rate.

I called up Customer Service last Friday to ask them to fix it, and the nice rep asked for the ticket numbers so she could confirm what order the flights were done in, as they are all listed for the same day. That's when I realized that my folder with my boarding passes/tickets wasn't in my briefcase. I apologized to her for my dippyness, and for wasting her time, which she was very gracious about it not being a big deal, and just call back when I had the tickets.

Come Monday, I have the tickets in front of me, and call Customer Service again. I again explain what I am asking for, and the guy starts typing in his system to see the situation. He is taking quite a while, and I'm staring at my computer screen with my account listing, wondering what I can do to help him. I offered the ticket numbers, or itinerary record locator, but he just keeps quiet and types away. As I'm staring at the computer screen wondering what else I can offer, I focus on the numbers again, and realize that they are showing that the segments following my completing the Platinum Challenge (note: just 49 miles before landing in SJC) do indeed show the proper amount of miles credit. I explain this to the guy, and again apologize profusely for wasting his time.

I got off the phone, still staring at the computer screen, and I knew the miles were wrong before. Fortunately, I am somewhat "sphincter relaxation challenged" and I dove into my briefcase to pull out the printout I made of my miles account on Friday. Indeed, they did show then with only the 125%! Apparantly the sneaky AA.com computer and/or the first Customer Service rep went back and fixed the problem. ( )

But what that did was to make me apologize for making a mistake, when I shouldn't have had to! I was "emotionally traumatized" by that, and I think I should get some CS miles!

What do you think?
