Back in 1998, I flew about 15 segments on DL and 40 or so under various other carriers because I was a typical new traveller and didn't know how important it is to keep you stuff in one or maybe two baskets. I didn't ask for it at all and Delta just sent me a Silver card. I might have ended up with them anyway since I need to go to SLC a lot and CVG offers me a lot of timely connections but it did tilt it to Delta's favor. In 99, GM, 00, 01, 02, and 03 PM. And I will still be PM in 04 but they tilted it away from their favor now and I will be going elsewhere.
