You better be careful. New York hotels are well known to over book.. The later you arrive in the day the more likely they will give your room up to someone else... Nevertheless the hotel will put you up at something decent for free.. Last time this happend to me my luxury hotel put me up at the New York Helmsley.

Rooms were clean and nice.. just a little dated. It really did not matter cause I was not paying anything for it
