I think it's a bad idea to take it to the locker rooms, showers, saunas or steamrooms, as well. Not for the same reasons, but rather because it's in poor taste (perhaps unless it's "that" kind of place).
If the hotel room, locker room, etc., are all unavailable, where would one go?
