Agreed that it shouldn't be a problem at all. For the first one, I assume you've seen it, but just in case you haven't, AA also flies GIG-GRU (it's the 777 that then heads onwards GRU-MIA). AA will definitely sell you the GIG-GRU-DFW itinerary.
