BA or bust - You do yourself an injustice sir. I can't believe that Mrs BA or bust is that shallow that she only married you to improve her travel prospects. Unless she is a 'Heather Mills-type' of lady she must have seen beyond the BA Gold Card when she said 'I do'.

And if brightstar100's fiance is only attracted to him by BA F travel surely it is better for brightstar100 to find out now rather than later? I write this as a thrice-married (but only twice-divorced) 50 year old, so my views may be somewhat distorted.

I was brought up by my father to treat one's mother as the best girlfriend you'll ever have - sound advice in my opinion. Notwithstanding his undoubted genorosity in buying Mum a Club World ticket in the first place what better way for brightstar100 to show his feelings towards his Mum than by sitting with her throughout the flight - after all 30 years ago to the day she was probably going through hell giving birth!

Alternatively, brightstar100 could travel in F with his mum and let the fiance travel in J!!!
