I have been a planning a trip in Hawaii in Sept. I have been looking at fares and schedules with HP. Last week their schedule showed 2 daily flights to HNL (a morning and afternoon departure). Apparently, they just did a schedule change this weekend because the afternoon departure flight #922 does not show up on the schedules. On the return flight from HNL, they offered 2 flights back-to-back around the 10 pm hour. The first flight #923 is dropped leaving HNL. Looks like the daily LAS-OGG is also dropped completely, but their daily PHX-OGG remains the same. The changes appear starting Sept. 6. Knowing how HP operates, this probably is due to the shoulder season as the demand typicially drops after Labor Day. They may reinstate again next year during the peak season. I am just a little frustrated because I booked planned on taking the afternoon PHX-HNL and now I have to adjust my itenary.

They also will drop KOA and LIH service to 3x weekly starting in Sept. KOA/LIH is not affected this past weekend's schedule change as it was already planned to be reduced to 3x weekly. Currently, during the summer season KOA and LIH is daily.
