You can certainly try to argue as you wish, and I hope you get what you want.

However, you have to recognize that as far as I'm aware, the hotel has no obligation to honor the rate, and may very well demand you pay more at check-in. I can't say whether this is right or not, whether it's good or bad customer service, or whether you would win a civil case against the hotel. But I know that other FTers have checked in at a hotel, only to be told that there is an obvious error in the rate. So, you just never know.

Any way you can pre-pay with a CC for the entire stay, ahead of time?

It's just considered common courtesy on this board. If you find a great deal, you share it with others. If you want to keep it to yourself, don't come on here bragging about the rate but refusing to share any information.

I realize that's not your intention, but it could be perceived by some people that way.
