I'm glad someone else shares my perception; I thought it was just me. The FS rooms just "feel" too much like Mandalay Bay, which is not surprising given the location of the FS.
However, we are still VERY pleased with our stay at FS Las Vegas. The pool service, the staff, the non-existing casino and the peace make this hotel the best place to stay in Vegas. We visited the Mandalay Bay pool once but only stayed for 20 minutes before running back to the FS, as it was totally crowded, noisy and tacky.
I agree with peace of this hotel the greatest selling point. There were however, a couple of minor service lapses when I was there.
