I used the hotel's website to make the reservation and when I was done making the reservation {which was step 5} I got a page that I printed.

On it was: the reservation #, my information [name, address] and the details of the reservation [ arrival date, departure date, # of rooms, # of people per room, room type, rate code, and Total for stay.

This is not a chain but it is managed by a very large, well known business in the hospitality area. The reservation system appeared to be theirs...although I made online reservation using the hotel's website.

I checked the hotel's website very carefully. Nowhere does it make mention of what happens if there are mistakes on the site and how they would be handled. No disclaimers for any information on the site.
