My ticket is bought and it wasn't cheap (looking forward to flying AC -- I'm curious about it). Another friend of mine is having a heck of a time trying to find a reasonable fare between DCA/BWI and YYZ (I actually found a ~$309 R/T itinerary). Maybe AC doesn't want us going to Canada?
Well, there is your enemic dollar which has raised the price by about 30% over the past two years. And then there's your own government. While we do have a slew of fees and taxes on our tickets, we don't charge you a Customs/Immigration Fee to come in, or even Departure Tax like most countries do. In fact, it is your own American Government that whacks you close to $30 just to get back into the USA with its INS/Customs/Ag Fee. (And better not forget your passport if you want to get home, the border isn't all that porous!)

Hope you booked one of AC's new Embraer 75s or 90s that are now flying the DCA-YYZ route.
