Yikes. Not a connection I'd like to try. You're going to need to hustle through customs at LGW (and hope for no baggage claim difficulties, as you'll need to transfer the bags yourself LGW-LHR) and catch the
National Express bus. They quote a travel time of 1 hr, 20 minutes, departures every 15-20 minutes. If everything goes perfectly (run through LGW pre-customs area, first bag off the carousel, customs doesn't grill you, no wait for the bus, traffic is light on the M23 and M25), you might get to LHR by 10 AM. My bet would be after 11 AM, though.
If I were you, I'd call back and demand a later LHR-ATH.
