Most stores still carry regular Sudafed (and generic equivalents), but you either have to ask the pharmacist for it or find someone who can unlock the "magic cabinet" where it is kept under lock and key. Most states regulate the amount of pseudoephedrine that an individual can purchase, and may log your name and address. Combination products that contain pseudoephedrine can still be sold off the shelf under the assumption that the average meth cook doesn't have the chemical expertise to extract the pseudoephedrine from the other stuff (acetaminophen, chlorpheniramine, whatever).
