Sorry for being picky, but roughly a fiver charge for a withdrawl overseas with my TD account - the main thing though, if you are trying to withdraw $2000, is $5 dollars really going to make a big difference? Only if you are doing this numerous times ...
Wire transfers from an overseas to Canadian bank account may cost more in fees (beneficiary payment in Canada with TD cost me approx $20), but at least you can transfer loads more - note, if you try this method, send <C$10,000 so as not to be tracked by customs ... Most are same day and then you can take out as much as you want if not from an ATM then from a branch.
