personally when I travel internationally, I use my ATM to withdraw local cash.

I like to take enough out at once to last the entire trip so I dont have to keep paying intl ABM fees. Sadly most machines in the UK limit me to 200 pounds, and that usually isnt enough. I get hit with $3 s/c every withdrawl
