I would say that your E status was likely revoked since the Monday flight. This happens quite often for infractions commited by members under the AE agreement. Usually you can rectify the situation by writing a letter to AE with an apology for your mistakes.
Think back to Monday, did you steal anything from the lounge or the plane? Maybe you took a safety card from the seat pocket in front of you, or a couple bags of chips from the lounge...maybe you took some napkins by mistake, all of these things can have your status revoked. Do you remember boarding the plane, did you board before the SE's during the pre-boarding? How much overhead space did you take? Was your luggage over the check-in limit for E's...these and countless other infractions could have gotten your status revoked. I would call AE immediately and apologize....you will likely get your status back after that, but be careful in the future..
