sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but izakaya kai is closed. there's a new restaurant in that location...can't remember the name, it's okay but not terrific. if you're looking for decent sushi/japanese, try shiono's in the coconut grove shopping center.

you'd definitely want to rent a car rather than a cab or sitting at the airport...
