I said I was a Gold VIP and according to the website, it is clear that it should be a "Full" breakfast for myself and a guest for the length of our stays.

She let us slide this time and then went and confirmed that I was indeed Gold.

I talked to the evening manager about what a Gold+ should get for breakfast and he said only for me and a cold breakfast. I said the website says differnently. He says, sorry but that it what they do here.

I called HHONORS and talked with a rep. First call, the guy says NO breakfast included.

Second rep I talked with read exactly what was on the website. Full breakfast for me and a guest....I then explained what happened and she was really surprised.

How can a very simple benefit get so screwed up and not corrected???
I was told by both staff at HGI & HH CSR that in order to get the free breakfast for the "guest", he/she has to stay at the same room w/you, or you are paying for his/her room.
