A first-generation antihistamine like benadryl or chlorpheniramine + a decongestant like sudafed should work well. Second-generation antihisamines like Claritin or Allegra often take many days to work. If dryness becomes an issue, get a nasal saline spray. You may want to try the saline spray even if dryness isn't an issue. There will be virtually no side effects, it's cheap, and for some people this is very effective.
