I may have mis-understood the OP's question as referring to the combined US, not just planes painted in the new (or old US) livery, or operated only by US East and it's affiliates.
So if the question is how many planes say US Airways or US Airways Express on the side, the answer is probably over 500 by now.
If the question is how many planes US East and it's affiliates operate, the answer is 450 or so.

You are correct in assuming I was referring to the "combined fleet" and not the "repainted fleet". I didn't think that brand necessarily implied paint-job, but I suppose a clairification was in order. I thought US Express operated 352 aircraft, but I guess that's old info. The question is, for simplicity's sake, how many A/C does US sell seats on that's not a codeshare
