Check out a pub called the "Cittie of Yorke" on High Holborn very near the tube station for a GREAT lunch! Homemade shepherds pie, F&C, Bangers and Mash, and a very nice interior.....Not a dinner joint at all, but a real local place for lunch if you have the time.
