I'm self employed and in the golden years of my consultancy, reducing my client-paid world travel on a rapidly descending straight line each year. But I've been spoiled and want to hang onto that instant KK thing for a few years yet so I can bring my family into YVR on short notice during peak periods.

So - all you guys out there - many thanks for your most helpful suggestions. I think I have enough tips from you now to plan for SE next year at an expense I can afford.
