Followup - our 1K status paid off as we were able to pick up one-way tickets through the 1K Line at the cost of points for a round trip. Thankfully there were Saver Awards available.

We politely read excerpts from the profile provided above to the agent but she said she had checked with a "Level Four" employee and this was the best they could do.
