Which is the reason I stick with Hilton ... almost all my stays are only one night.
To the OP's question, I'm betting that the rolling tier has not had much of an effect on the % of Diamond members ... maybe it's up to 3 or 4 percent now.
But with the Gold challenges going out to everyone and their grandmother (just four stays for many!), I'd bet the % of golds has gone up from 9 to near 15%.
