Try Southwest. The first time I ever flew them was a couple months ago. Only real choice for where I needed to go that was convenient. My meeting ends early so I race to the airport hoping to catch an earlier flight. Get to the gate just as they are boarding, ask for standby, GA says, Let's see, and comes back with, "Sure, you can get on this flight. You just need to pay the difference from your ticket and to what this flight currently costs." Which was about $100. No thanks.
