I would also love the convenience of not having to pay 3 - 5 times the fare of the lowest fares on the plane for the same crappy UX service. UA service is alright, expecially when able to upgrade. However, the service on a CRJ 50 is rather spartan at best and is highway robbery when my bag, marked as priority, is left off against UA policy. This is not entitlement, it is a benefit that is offered to me by UA and UA expects the regional carriers to uphold policy. Therefore, I will carry on my three bags on Friday so if I inconvenience anyone else then they can take their chances and check their bags. I played that game yesterday and lost.
