You don't see a need for a concierge at a luxury hotel? I've never stayed at a true luxury hotel that didn't have a concierge on duty all day through early evening. Lots of other relatively small problems at the Pulitzer that add up to an overall bad impression.
Yeah, I guess a gap of more than an hour during the middle of the day is unacceptable. I had not run into that in my four visits, spanning a total of a few weeks.
