Thanks for the help. I did contact the hotel directly and was told different things from two different employees! Same thing when I call SPG or reservations tollfree. Anyway, I had a front desk manager note the reservation that it's ok. They told me as long as the guest is 18 and has a credit card in his/her name. This is for the W New Orleans.
From what I can tell, some are 18 and others are 21 when traveling alone.
