What the OP wrote seems to be a pretty odd experience; it appears that everything that could've gone wrong did. I'm not saying what he/she said isn't true, but if everything did occur as stated, then that whole flight received subpar service.

Nobody is saying that jetBlue is perfect, nor are we (the jetBlue koolaid folks) saying that sub par service is okay. I sympathize that you're first and potentially only jetBlue experience was a bad one; we can only hope that you'd try them again for a better one.

On the note about Delta, I think that each airline has their pros n’ cons with some quirks, it’s simply a match between what the customer is looking for and what that specific airline is offering. Each airline has their own niche, such as Delta treating their elite very well… we’re as jetBlue is known for their newer planes & IFE. Let’s all enjoy the friendly skies and be friendly with eachother.
