I've only used the spa and not stayed at the hotel. It is very expensive and borderline worth it (some of the treatments are very good). The spa is very busy (they have a membership program for local residents, so it isn't primarily hotel guests using the spa; as well as attracting people like me, I was staying at the Phoenician instead). Hard to say whether I would recommend it over the Phoenician or a half-dozen other spa alternatives. The restaurant pricing is stratospheric ($50 for a lunch of a club sandwich -- but then it is that kind of place).
